Abuja Airport lockdown: A conspiracy theory By Princewill Odidi

This is just for laughs. It is a conspiracy theory. So I am not misquoted, or misrepresented, let me help define what I mean by a conspiracy theory referenced Wikipedia.

"A conspiracy theory is a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators". Or better defined , A conspiracy theory is an explanation of an event or situation that invokes a conspiracy without warrant, generally one involving an illegal or harmful act carried out by government or other powerful actors"

Example, conspiracy theorist believes American CIA killed JFK, or that bombs where planted at the basement of the World Trade Center by CIA working in concert with the terrorist to blow up the building just to get a reason to go to war with iraq, that was why it collapsed the way it did when knocked by a passenger jet.

In summary, a conspiracy theory is an assumption that the maker knows is not true, but uses it to get people thinking, or making assumptions that gives the semblance of truth.

My conspiracy theory on the shorting down of Abuja Airport is that they want to use the opportunity to introduce more Nigerians to Kaduna, so technically Kaduna airport would eventually become Abuja second airport. I believe that this re routings will open up Kaduna and bring in more business, it has nothing to do with working on the runway in abuja. To prove my point, how do we explain the fact that lagos which is the oldest airport in the country has never been short down to fix the runway? As preparation to use Kaduna airport, the airport has a facelift and the Kaduna Abuja road is under serious renovation. Someone knows something others do not know. I hope I did a good work on my conspiracy theory. It is not meant to be believed, it is just for laughs, it is literary mischief, or at best a conspiracy theory. So what do you think?
