We ‘ll add Cross River to Edo as APC States in 2019 – Etta

CROSS River is a low hanging fruit which the All Progressives Congress, APC, will pluck and add to Edo state as the number of states it controls in the South South .

Ntufam Hilliard Etta, the National Vice Chairman, South-South of the APC stated this in Calabar on Friday during a reception in his honour  by members of the party following his re-election during the recent national convention of the party held in Abuja.

Etta stated that his victory was an act of God as many top  officials of the party were against his re-election therefore he owes it a duty to reward the party members who had confidence in him and voted him to win by working to replace the People’s Democratic Party, PDP government in the state.

“My victory offers us another opportunity to strengthen the party and coast to victory  in Cross River State  because Ayade must leave Diamond Hill. Those who play APC in the day and PDP at night should repent because we are sacking that government and I am fully on the side of APC”

He said there was a vicious plan to remove him but the strong will of young men and women saw him back to victory and would therefore not disappoint them while serving his second tenure in the next four year.

“The events of the cold nights of 23^rd and 24^th June  were made for the movies. I saw light triumph over darkness. I have always stood on the side of fairness, equity and justice and with that in mind I say sorry to those who felt I did not do well in my first tenure, I will make amends this time”.

He paid courtesy  calls  on the Paramount Ruler of Calabar Municipality who advised him to use the opportunity of his re-election to address the minds of those who are aggrieved so that the party can work  as one in the 2019 election.
