Popular Cross River farmer dumps APC for PDP

...launches 500,000 farmers votes for Ayade
Kanjal Godshield
Popular Cross River State journalist turned farmer, Godshield kanjal has resigned his membership from the All Progressive Congress (APC), to join the People's Democratic Party (PDP)

Kanjal, who hails from Ogoja and an expert in plantain farming and processing, during his defection at Nkum Irede Ward, said he is galvanizing over 500,000 farmers across the state to vote for Governor Ben Ayade in the forthcoming governorship election.

Kanjal noted that, by his assessment, among the three governorship candidates, Ayade is the most competent to serve the state hence bringing the desired development to the people.

"By my assessment,  Ayade is the most competent candidate among the three I know.

"Results from his first term shows he has the capacity to govern the state for another four years.

"I'm not just tribalistic as one who hails from northern Cross River. Although, I also advocate for the north to complete its eight years in the perigrino house,  for equity and fairness.

"Ayade's ideas are lofty and I want to contribute to the execution of these ideas in his second term

"we are going round the state, to villages, farms and hard-to-reach areas to galvanise support for Ayade

"in my constituency as a farmer, Ayade is winning. No bargain," he said.
