The Publisher of the Authentic News blog, Mr. Darlington Edem has emerged the new Chairman of the Association of Cross River Online Journalists (ACROJ).
Edem will be succeeding Hope Obeten, publisher of Calabar blog who was recently appointed as the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the State Assembly.
The managing Editor of CrossRieverwatch, Archibong Jeremiah was returned unopposed as the Secretary.
Edem is the second elected Chairman and third to lead ACROJ.
Thanking members of the association, Edem promised to take ACROJ to a higher height by galvanizing support across board for the growth of the group and its members.
He said training, professionalism and welfare of members will be his priority.
Comrade Iwara Iwara was the first Chairman In acting capacity while Comrade Hope Obeten was appointed and later elected as Chairman.
