Diamond Jubilee Celebration : Prof. Akpagu releases schedule for tomorrow's activities

Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Zana Akpagu has released schedule of activities for his diamond jubilee celebration tomorrow, Monday, 26th August.

The event which will start with a thanksgiving mass at St. Paul Parish, Unical by 8:am will follow with conferment of Chieftaincy title by the Cross River State Traditional Rulers Council by 10:am at the Council of Chiefs Chambers, Governor's office, Calabar, same day

Shortly after that is the presentation of inaugural lecture by the  Professor at the Unical International Conference Centre by 12 noon. The Chairman of the inaugural lecture is the University of Uyo VC, Prof. Enefiok Essien, SAN.

The activities for the day will end with a 60th birthday diamond gala/party to hold at the Event Centre (the tent), Parliamentary Road Extension, By-Pass Calabar Municipality immediately after the lecture.

Akpagu, a former Commissioner and Special Adviser to the Governor who rose through the ranks to become the first alumnus VC of Unical invites the general public to be part of the activities for tomorrow.
