In line with his "Operation Zero Pothole" initiative, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Zana Akpagu has commenced rapid and massive construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of some major roads in the University.
While some under rehabilitation have been completed in less than a week, others that requires total reconstruction as well as the new roads he's creating to connect all the University locations together are at different levels of completion.
Recall that it was just about a week ago that the VC declared opened, the "Operation Zero Pothole" initiative. The progress and quality of work so far in all the sites have left tongue wagging.
Some of the roads which have not been given attention since construction are today wearing new look.
The ongoing projects even when some are yet to be complemented have given the University a new albeit appealing looks.
