BREAKING: Akpanke Matches Words With Action, Writes UniLag, To Pay JAMB Highest Scorer 5-yr School Fee Upfront

Member representing Obudu/Bekwerra/Obanliku federal constituency in the house of representatives and Chairman, The Akpanke Foundation, Hon. Peter Akpanke, has taken a remarkable step to fulfil his scholarship award for Stephen Apebende, the highest scorer from Cross River State in the 2024 Joint Administration and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams. 

Akpanke has written to the University of Lagos, requesting scholarship admission for Apebende, a talented student candidate who achieved an impressive score of 356 in the recently concluded JAMB results.

In the letter dispatched via DHL Express from Abuja to Lagos today, Hon. Akpanke has assured the university of his commitment to cover the complete school fees for Apebende from year one to final year, upfront. 

Speaking, Akpanke said that Apebende's exceptional performance has earned him a well-deserved opportunity, and his intervention is to ensure that financial constraints will not hinder his pursuit of higher education.
