Join the Movement: Support "Know Your Rights" Campaign for Children's Day

As we approach Children's Day on May 27th, the Barr. Briana Akpagu's Foundation, Feed a Hungry Child with Briana (FAHCWB), is gearing up for an impactful event tagged "Know Your Rights." This five-day programme, scheduled from May 27th to 31st, 2024, in Calabar, Cross River State, aims to empower children with knowledge of their fundamental rights and equip them with the skills to advocate for, and defend themselves.

With the growing cases of bullying and social injustices in schools amongst pupils and students, the importance of event such as this cannot be overemphasized.

The "Know Your Rights" campaign is designed to educate children about their rights, as enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). This initiative is crucial in ensuring that children are aware of their entitlements and can demand justice, equality, and protection. The event will feature interactive sessions, workshops, and activities that will engage children and make learning fun.
